Working In A Fog
Working In A Fog
I broke my streak after two days.
While driving to an estimate, I turned my head and that’s when I felt the tension in my neck. Oh, damn.
During the estimate, when I turned my head, I could feel the pain in my neck shook up into my head.
The lady didn’t have much and I was done in less than half an hour.
My only instinct was to get home, take an anti-inflammatory and wait this thing out. I felt like Frankenstein’s monster driving home.
I did get a little work done, finished a short.
And it wasn’t like I was in pain, just uncomfortable. Every movement came a dull pain.
Lucy convinced me to take a muscle relaxer during the evening. “You’ll feel better by morning,” she said. Well, I did.
So did my two day streak.
I woke up this morning in a fog that didn’t let up till around noon.
I still did drop off brochures at a property. My heart was in it, but my body wasn’t.
I still managed to help with a move today, but don’t feel like myself until the evening.
