Day 2 of the Winter Vortex 2026 or Winter Storm Fern.
I didn’t even know they named Winter storms until I saw some guy rant about it on TikTok.
My main goal for today was to edit the video for Stay At Home Mover and well, that got done. Good.
Other than that, it was about staying warm and keeping Diego entertained, which I did. I spent most of the morning being his mattress until Lucy got up mid-day.
Then I took a call from Jake and retreated into my office to cut the video.
Marcos finally finished this “Lego-esque” F-22 model he has been working on, that is actually kind of cool.
The previous night, we talked a little about religion. That was fun. Turns out, the kid has some good insights and thinks about things, which is a good sign.
We did spend the evening watching *Rounders* and Marcos said he liked it. The movie holds up well. The one thing I remember about *Rounders* is that for me, Poker was a game I’d only heard about, but never really seen. Then, *Rounders* came out and boom, poker was everywhere. It almost like when someone reminds you that the color Red exists and then boom, all you see is Red.
