I think I’m getting sick. Earlier today I started feeling achy and that kind of chill that lingers under the skin despite wearing a thick hoodie that’d made Senator-elect John Fetterman proud.
Late last week, Lucy had got a bad sinus infection and the flu is going around her school. So I may have caught something.
I finally came to bed and laid down for awhile.
I’m rarely sick, but when I am, it hits me hard and I start writing out my will (not that I have much).
I’m not there yet, but the only thing I can think about is this damned streak. So here am writing my five hundred words.
Earlier today I did take some photos. So that was cool.
The bad news of course is that I got passed up for that position I interviewed for last week. I called the sales manager and he said they were going a different direction.
In other news, Donald Trump declared that he was running for President again.
I think it was Groover Cleveland that lost re-election and ram again and won. I remember thinking something like that could never happen again. Well, if Trump wins, it will have happened again in my lifetime.
How do I feel about Trump running again?
Eh, we’ll see.
If he wins the nomination and Biden is so bruised by his policies, he could win, maybe.
If the midterms taught the political class anything this cycle is that nothing is guaranteed.
I’ll see how it all comes out in the wash and wait till March to make any sort of decisions.
There a lot of people on Con ET (Conservative Electronic Twitter) that say they won’t vote for Trump again.
Saying you won’t vote for Trump now is a sort of virtue signaling.
I know because I was there in 2016 and still pulled the leveler for him, because the alternative was much worse for me.
And I can’t see Con ET staying home or voting 3rd party against the current administration.
Will they vote for him in the primary?
Probably not, but the the general is a whole different ball of wax.
It feels a little early for the next election, but here we are today.
We’ll see what happens. I’m not looking forward to the next election after the shellacking from the last one.
The good news is that the republicans took the house, by a slim margin. So that’s should put some breaks on the Biden agenda, but we’ll see since it’s a slim minority.
I need to refocus on the job search tomorrow and get my ass in gear in other places.
The only thing I’m really proud of right now is that I’ve got an outline for my tack in December.
That’s a good thing and when I pitched it, it got some good feed back.
The one thing I can say right now is that it’s all relating the talk to the gospel message.
I’m hoping it will go well.
