What are Jots?
Robert Rodriguez calls his Meemos. (I think that’s the correct spelling).
Rodriguez mentions them in his podcast with Tim Ferris.
So I’m thinking of posting something like Meemos, but I’m calling mine Jots.
Jots are little random thoughts that pop into my head and I’ll share them on the blog.
Maybe they’ll be connect, maybe not. At this point, I don’t know.
If I have one criticism of Eric Kim’s blog, of which I’m a big fan, is that Kim will often write these one sentence “turbo thoughts” without context.
I get it, it’s part of his art. Still, I think there could be more.
This is how it will work, in my head I’ll write a subject, then something in the except. Some short paragraph to crystallize my thought.
Part of my goal with this blog is to be a replacement to social media, for the exception of business.
We’ll see how this goes.
