…but its not only on Twitter. It’s everywhere else as well.
Like I’m really quick with a quip or joke based off the situation at hand.
Case in Point:
About a week ago, I go to Torchy’s Tacos to pick up an order for Lucy. The manager is behind the bar. Looks at me, “here to pick up an order?” But my order is right there, on the window, waiting for me.
And I say, just off the cuff, “Thanks you guys are going to save my marriage.”
As I walk away, all I hear is laughter from the manager and some other patron at the bar.
The joke killed.
It was spur of the moment. It just popped in my head and out my mouth.
Now ask me to write a set to do at an open mic.
Freaking crickets.
